Lead Artist

Aqua Pacific. 87a Warwick Street, Leamington Spa, Wawickshire.
Responsible for creating original graphics and managing artists for 10+ titles on PS2, PC, XBOX and Handheld systems. Daily tasks include in game graphics (characters, textures, animations, frontend, environments), overseeing internal and external art teams (local freelancers to teams in China and India), game design documents and working with development team and publishers.

Scholarship 
I was picked as 1 of 25 winners of a student scholarship to visit the Games Developer Conference 2002. Students were judged on a series of short essay questions on topics ranging from the games industry to personal goals and favoured games.
Game Development 
Whilst at my current masters degree I worked on a group project creating a 3D computer game. I was responsible for all models, animations, artwork and textures. Download the game, view pictures and animation here: Buffalo Stampede
Design Competiton 
I won a design competition for an Industry magazine called ‘Edge’. The magazine wanted two story board images to link in with their monthly ‘in covers’ theme. The images were printed in the gallery, issue 50.
Game Projects 
In the past I have joined up with programmers from the UK and the US with the aim of making computer games on PC, Amiga and Playstation platforms. These personal projects have allowed me to gain basic knowledge about construction of graphics, both 2D and 3D for computers utilising a Yaroze Playstation and Direct X. Unfortunately these projects were never completed due to educational commitments.
Industry 
I have been contributing and helping to build up David Perry’s personal website (www.dperry.com). My work has included researching information on games industry jobs, companies and interviewing industry veterans. David Perry is the president of Shiny Games.


PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Cars 
Driving them, racing them, repairing them or just looking at them. Participated in 12 car road rallies at local car clubs. Helped marshall rally forest stages. Joined university motorsport club for regular karting trips. Held drivers licence for over 5 years now.
Sport 
Play footy, badminton, basketball whenever I can. Used to play for school and local town cricket teams.
Travel 
Enjoy travelling and visiting new countries. So far I've been fortunate enough to have experienced countries from around the world like Australia, South Africa, Jamaica, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong
Music 
Play guitar - not aswell as I should considering how long I've been playing but still enjoy it. Have created original music within a band and on myself.
