Sonic Dream Team - Official website

Sonic Dream Team was a brand new Sonic title developed by HARDlight for Apple Arcade.

At the end of 2024 we won best mobile game at the Develop Awards and shortly after were a runner up for Apple's best Arcade game losing out to Balatro.



As art director on the project, my duties included:

  • Art direction for entire project - Environments, UI, VFX, Marketing assets
  • Art scheduling, planning, resourcing
  • Team recruitment and outsource management
  • Created the game trailer (seen above!)
  • Contributed to the games concept art alongside the internal and external artists
  • Pipeline setup and style guide documentation
  • Hands on in Unity, fixing bugs, editing cut scenes, setting up VFX, adjusting environments
 







 

Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces

Sonic Dash was a project started long before I joined HARDlight, but have since taken over art direction duties. We've been adding new levels, characters and refreshing and adding new UI features.

Sonic Forces was a project I helped initially as a contractor, creating environment art primarily. Since joining HARDlight I've been responsible for the art team working on he project.

ChuChu Rocket! Universe and Sonic Racing

These games were launch titles when Apple Arcade first went live, it was a massive under taking to deliver both these games by Apple's deadline. I worked initially as lead artist on both titles before moving in to the Art Director role.

I helped setup pipelines, documentation, team mangement and scheduling, environment art, UI art, effects, marketing assets

 






 
 






 

 

Kingdom Conquest 3

Working as a contractor I produced a range of assets for this 4X mobile game. I created building renders for the map screen and animated the monsters in Spine 2D
