Mickey Mouse - Castle of Illusion - PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Android, iOS I worked on Castle of Illusion as a Senior Environment Artist, responsible for building levels from white box prototypes to complete functioning levels, lighting, environmental animations, textures, props and contributing to the design of the levels and puzzles. Working on a Mickey Mouse game required lots of cartoon style props and hand painted textures which was a fun challenge. As we released the game on console and mobile devices we needed to be very careful with our level designs and props to ensure the game ran and looked as good as possible on an iPhone as it does on a Playstation. The game was built at the same time as a new game engine was being developed from the ground up. This meant lots of problem solving and working with the coders to get the tools and gameplay how we wanted. |
